Country sugar is also called brown sugar which is the next state of palm jaggery. 100% natural and chemical-free.

Making process:

Country sugar is extracted from the sugarcane by the traditional method. In sugar cane, there are two types black and white. Black sugarcane is used in the festival called Pongal and the white is used for sugar.

The best white sugarcane will be collected and cut into several pieces and then it will be crushed with a crusher to extract the sugarcane juice. The juice will be collected and filtered so that the dust particles will be removed.

The filtered sugarcane juice will be heated in the mild heat, the sugar content will get settle down and the water content will be evaporated. The heating process will be continued until the sugar gets semi-solid.

When the sugar gets semi-solid, it will be leftover until the temperature reaches room temperature. The semi-solid sugar will be rubbed to get powder. And now the country sugar is ready and it will be packed wisely.
